The word Gawe in Javanese Language means "To do" or "To make", so Gawe Ceramics quite literally means "To make ceramics".

Founded in 2021, Gawe Ceramics is a cozy little home pottery workshop which offer classes on handbuilding and wheelthrowing. We believe on the vast possibilities that the medium has to offer, and the need for people to slow down, unwind, and reconnect with oneself. Thus, our classes aim to introduce the basic techniques on pottery making and spread the love of clay.
